Yup! I did the waitress uniform for Asa too! And hopefully I'll do her street clothes at some point b/c she is soooo awesome and cute :3

I did make the entire costume primarily out of a sheer, soft chiffon material. I HATE chiffon after this costume. I will now avoid it at all costs. I wish I could take credit for this petticoat of doom but I am not nearly talented enough to have made this. I company in the Dallas area made it for $50.00 and it has over 100 yards of tulle! I love them and I need to find their names in order to give them credit!

The huge bow is made using the standard bow method (look at godsavethequeen's link) but I made the super XL version and stuffed it with pillow batting. It snaps onto the back and over the waist band.



My favorite part of this cos are the details.. its hard to tell in the pics but everything in white is lined with blue scalloped edging that I did over and over again. I did forget to grab her blue scarf to pull the outfit together. There are also the bows on my hands, the brown bow in the hair and the red bows and details on the headband. Overall I'm happy with the costume but I should have done better at this shoot.. I just was having a "off day." Ce la vi!​
