My Backstory: My name is Tifani and I was born in Singapore and lived with my family a while before coming back to the US. I've lived in numerous states and have been fortunate to visit many countries and studied abroad in Morocco. My mother worked for Nintendo for a time while I was growing up so Zelda was my best friend :) I received a degree in International Relations with a focus in Arabic but after all of that I decided gov't work just wasn't right for me. I missed acting and the creative side I had during school so when I attended my first anime convention I started researching this thing.. "cosplay." Needless to say I was hooked. I started in Oklahoma and Texas but after making a life change I've now located myself in Ohio.

​My Philosophy: I cosplay characters I love, I mean ones I REALLY LOVE! Everyone always asks "who should I cosplay as?" If everyone simply cosplays as characters they love then they will never have regrets on making costumes. I don't just cosplay extravagant characters and I don't just cosplay ones that happen to show more skin. I cosplay the whole range of characters b/c I find a little of myself in each one. Never feel confined to one type or genera, constantly be creating and exploring new characters to create and you will always make a work of art :)

 

​My Career: Currently I am a jack of MANY trades. I'm a professional seamstress and pattern maker, model and actress, and costume designer. I love each of these facets of my life and the fact I get paid for all of them makes my work that much more worth while. I'm truly blessed to do all of these things but would love to focus more on cosplay and cons seems to be my only vacation! When people ask me how I got started in this I tell them its a long story.. The short version is this: I decided after college what I really wanted to do and literally dropped my life and began moving to make it happen, all the while gaining huge amounts of XP and leveling up my sewing craft.
