Elika from Prince of Persia

This costume will always be one of my most memorable b/c how happy I ended up with the final result, the photoshoot and getting to meet AoutValour, my Prince who flew in from another state to do this cosplay with me :)

The costume is formed around my U-bra and is a mixture of 3 fabrics to get the movement of the white that I was looking for. The detailing is a mixture of sewn on rat tail cording and gold and bronze puff paint. The necklace I used was two pieces put together and buffed gold. The pants are more realistic looking up close. They pull with a similar style to Elika in the game but it was a white cotton-poly mix so I literally had to dye it like 5 times and finally used the FW ink method on the pants.. it totally worked. The same detailing was added to the bottom. The belt are two belts twisted together and I added the closure.

But really, REALLY the special part of this costume was AoutValour. His Prince is amazing and you should stop and look at the work he did on his gauntlet and leather, its truly impressive! My costume wouldn't have made any sense without him next to me, and he was very nice about making sure to include me in every pic we took around the con. Hopefully we will do some more costumes together in the future! :D

UPDATE: We did end up doing a 2nd photoshoot from which I'm now uploading new pictures. We have decided to become permanent cosplay partners and plan to do a formal/gown variation of the characters with our original designs!!
