Phoenix Kasai

Motoko Kusanagi was the first anime character for me to hopelessly adore and GITS my first anime. She is the perfect strong, intelligent female character and I have more figures and pictures of her than I do any other character :) 



This is actually my second attempt at her costume. The first was her version in season two but it was my first costume so I don't have any good photos. Once the weather is nice I will have to have an official photoshoot with her again. The costume itself is made of Neoprene and I even took the time to make the leather jacket. I've actually met both Mary Elizabeth McGlynn and Richard Epcar as Motoko and both were pretty surreal experiences for me! ​
