Yuuko Ichichara from xxxHolic - red smoke dress

Yuuko Ichihara from xxxHolic is one of those characters girls just long to become. For some its because of her esquiste costumes for others its her aura. I would fall into both. Whether CLAMP gave her such fantastic lines regarding fate or that was the US translation I'm hooked. So many costumes to choose from hers but had never seen this one done.



Dress: Pink quilters fabric with subtle purple/mauve smoke pattern. Dyed fabric 6 times with mixes of cherry red, black and purple to achieve color. 

Collar and green trim: Vintage wedding lace dyed apple green to match green obi sash and beads.

Obi: Plum twill fabric with gold moon detail painted on.

Pipe: Wooden dowel rod painted gold with end pipe detail made from paper clay, etched filigree details and painted gold.
